John has been doing carpentry and residential construction his whole career. He spent five years building high end custom homes in Aspen, Colorado where he quickly developed an eye for the finer details and finishes. Six additional years of building, mostly alternative, green-energy custom homes in Southern Colorado provided a new perspective and appreciation for a home's consumption and footprint. At Habitat for Humanity of Chester County, John served for more than ten years as Director of Construction. With a keen awareness for a home's history and architecture, John aims to deliver projects that honor the bones of a home while still meeting the style wants and budget goals of clients. With an extensive residential construction background, John's talents shine in a range of projects. John leads and oversees work on all projects making sure clients are in-the-loop and informed about the process.
